Zach Barrett

Bio

Zachary Barrett is a 2012 graduate of Timber Creek High School, where he served as a captain for both the 2011 Timber Creek Football Regional Finalist team and the 2012 Timber Creek Baseball State Semifinalist team. Following high school, he went on to play Division I baseball at Bethune-Cookman University before transferring to Mars Hill University, where he played quarterback at the Division II level.

After his playing career concluded in 2015, Barrett earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in 2016. Now entering his 11th season in coaching—and his sixth with the Timber Creek Wolves—he currently serves as Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator (second season in this role), and Director of Recruiting. In 2021, he also gained valuable experience as Head Coach at University High School in Orlando.

Barrett attributes his passion for football to his father, Danny Barrett, who has had a distinguished coaching career and currently serves as the Running Backs Coach and Assistant Head Coach for the Houston Texans. Barrett also credits the man he is today to his Mother, Alison who he states, "Dared to parent him" and she continues to do so to this day.
